For a while there, it felt like all we were hearing was “REELS, REELS, REELS!!” The “real” strategy is a combination of all three ways of posting on Instagram. Yes, reels are essential. But the real winning combination is carousels (with trending audio), reels, and single-image posts for maximum impact. - A/B Testing of Short VS. Long-Form Content
With all the recent updates that Meta pushed out, one of the biggest being that you can now upload reels up to three minutes long. If you’re unsure what type of content resonates with your audience more, try testing out different content lengths to see which gets the higher engagement.
Film a few Reels or TikTok videos that are 45 seconds or less. Then switch up format and film a batch of two to three minute long videos. Which performs better? - Experiment with Posting Times
When you are scheduling out your content, try playing around with different posting times. Maybe you’ll find on certain days, posting in the morning reaches a wider audience versus posting in the evening. Pay attention to the organic engagement! - Focus on SEO in your Captions
SEO-friendly captions are the new hashtags! Include your top industry keywords in your social media captions. But… do it in an organic way. Making your captions too lengthy or look like word fluff won’t come off genuinely.
