As we kick off 2025, the one thing that hasn’t changed is… the ever-changing landscape of Marketing. Ironic, isn’t it? Let’s go over four things to keep your eye on to stay ahead of the curve. It is vital to engage your audience in order to drive results!
1. YOUR CUSTOMER WANTS A PERSONALIZED EXPERIENCE:
The once-skeptical consumer is now seeking for you to know more about them. With people’s shrinking attention spans, the desire to have an ad customized to their liking is a must. Saving the customer time from having to scour your website, leaving pockets of time open for them to leave before hitting “add to cart.”
There are so many tools available to help you find out your buyers’ online habits. Something I always preach to my clients is: LOOK AT YOUR ANALYTICS! There is a plethora of information on the back end of your website and/ or social media accounts. Utilize this information to your benefit, streamlining the entire buying process for your customer.
2. AI ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE – UTILIZE IT:
As mentioned in my previous point – customization of your customer’s experience is pivotal but also time-consuming. That’s where AI enters the chat.
AI isn’t just used for content ideas anymore (although that’s still a huge benefit of using it). Now people are using AI software to pull together user behavior reports, creating graphics, pulling data from competitors and so much more.
If you haven’t taken the time to do a deep dive into the tools of AI software. I highly encourage you to take a couple of hours of your downtime to read up on the power and convenience of integrating AI into your business.
3. HUMAN CONNECTION:
So now that I’ve just preached on the awesomeness of artificial intelligence and how great it is to have machines working to benefit your business – let’s completely flip that and talk about the importance of having a human connection in your business as well!
At the root of everything, we are still humans. We crave that person-to-person connection. Posts that include people from your team or yourself will usually outperform those without. Don’t forget to feature the YOU in your business. Show your customer that you are not just a store or a brand, but you’re a business owner and a person too.
Once you connect technology with humanity = winning combo !!
4. SUBSCRIPTION LISTS
Gathering user data is on the rise. Using a newsletter, email blasts, subscriptions, VIP groups, loyalty programs, etc.. Utilizing this data is great for cultivating loyal relationships with your customers. For example: sending out emails with products based on past purchases.
This allows you to customize your marketing efforts for your customers – which, circling back to our first point, will be important moving forward in your marketing and advertising efforts.

That is something I speak about to all my clients, year after year. Keep a consistent presence online, posting content that speaks to your brand and that will attract your ideal customers! 😊
